assemblage - wood, tar, plastic, metal, paint.
As a child quite regularly I visited the
La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles. I loved
going there and still do.

So what are political implications of this piece?
As a hint and background the La Brea tar pits
area is where some of the first oil fields in
Los Angeles and were developed and there
are still a few oil wells in the area.
