Dog Paintings

All paintings are approximately 50" x 70"  acrylic/latex on unstretched canvas

What is interesting about painting dogs as opposed to humans is that they
 wear no mask.  Dogs don't laugh at your stupid jokes or scold you for your
  poor behavior. Dogs "are" or "is" or maybe it's "be." Now, what
  does that mean?  I don't have the slightest idea. But I know by
 observing dogs closely, painting them and reading what others
  have written  about them I get a sense of this unknown quality.
  and it's a quality I admire.
